It is with GREAT excitement that I can now reveal the launch of our new upholstery range - The Ji Collection. This is truly bespoke to Jeffreys and a first for us after a long held ambition of mine.
We have one of the best design teams in Scotland and have collectively chosen designs that will stand the test of time but also reflect our character and individuality whilst complementing a variety of styles and living spaces using contemporary detailing and beautiful fabrics.
The Ji Collection is a beautiful range of upholstery including sofas, occasional arm chairs and stools and I’m really excited to finally bring this artisan country styling with a contemporary twist to our clients. The Collection reinforces our commitment to craftsmanship, quality and heritage. Many of these designs feature traditional furniture making crafts such as the eight way Hand tied method, whereby each coil spring is held in place by eight strong knots.
One of my personal favourite pieces is the Kincairney Chair, it’s a real standout piece and I think will create a great focal point for a hall or living room. It’s made with solid Kiln Dried Walnut wood, which comes in a classic, neutral and naturally calming oatmeal or alabaster linen fabric - the perfect complement to bright, colourful accessories.
We have deliberately kept to a classic, neutral colour palette with natural materials and contemporary detailing that suits both country and urban living. Each piece has an eye-catching detail. Take the stylish Stenton Chair for example in Naples Alabaster, which comes in a walnut wood with a distressed chalk finish, it’s fully upholstered and features brass nail detailing for added contrast. While the Ballathie is a classic yet contemporary roll arm sofa, it comes in a walnut dry finish with Bordeaux Oatmeal or Naples Alabaster upholstery and no nails.
We’re delighted with our new Ji Collection, it’s beautiful, bespoke and offers a collection of lovely upholstered pieces characterised by their quality, detailing and style.
True artisanal designs with a contemporary twist – we think, we hope, we’ve nailed it!
